The Sheriff's Department has received an $18000 grant to strictly enforce spe limits in succession Highway 38 in the town of Caledonia. The area has had a disproportionate number of speed-related crashes. The department also received a $9600 grant to start a saturation patrol designed to bring to alcohol- related crashes in Racine.
