MIAMI -- Barton G Weiss.MIAMI -- Barton G Weiss, a restaurant possessor and event planner here, said he anticipates to add a new line of sugar-free dessert this fall at Barton G his fanciful downtown restaurant. The dessert will make their public first attempt this month at a beach party in Quogue NY to raise awareness for the University of Miami's Diabetes Research Institute. Grammy winner Patti LaBelle is scheduled to give a private performance at the adventure The soul singer learned she had diabetes after she collapsed forward stage 12 years ago, and has since become a vocal advocate for helping folks prevent the disease by changing unhealthy habits. The dessert will include sugar-free sorbet and ice cream, and of that kind items as cheesecake lollipops and brownies. They are being created at Barton G.'s executive pastry chef Renaud Gonthier.
