Chicago -- As Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises expands its Wildfire and Wow Bao chains and plans a newfangled refreshment-counter for Las Vegas, the company's fine-dining Tru restaurant here has inflected its small lounge into a caviar and appetizer bar.

Menu prices range from $12 for chill gazpacho soup to $91 for yellow Osetra caviar. "It's caviar five ways and light appetizers," said Richard Melman, LEYE's chairman.

LEYE is planning a fall opening in Atlanta for a branch of six-unit Wildfire, a 1940s-style steakhouse conception to be followed by another nearest year in McLean, Va.

LEYE also plans to unclose in a few months a other downtown Chicago location of Wow Bao, a steamed-Chinese-bun takeout stand. Melman also said LEYE is consulting with Harrah's Flamingo in Las Vegas for what is likely to be a new-style buffet
